Jordan

Coach

I have my degree in Exercise Science from North Central College (2014-2016). Fitness has truly been a passion of mine, however exercise has not always been a part of my lifestyle. I played basketball all throughout high-school, but never really lifted weights due to being intimated from the gym setting. So, H4 really implements the kind of environment I always saw myself being a part of and working for: making sure every client is welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.

What is your favorite exercise? Pull-Ups

Least fav? Walking lunges

Favorite thing about H4? Easy: the clients. It takes me about an hour to get to H4, but that commute is a lot easier since I always look forward to working with every single client. The H4 Community is truly something special that cannot be replicated. I feel so fortunate to be part of such a great group.

Manager & Coach

I grew up in Geneva, IL, and graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Advertising (Roll Tide!). I discovered fitness is a true passion of mine, which fueled me to change career paths and become a personal trainer. I came to H4 in the spring of 2017 as a client. I instantly loved the challenge, as well as the support the coaches and other clients brought forward. I've been hooked ever since!

Favorite Exercise? Burpees

Least Favorite? Planks

Favorite thing about H4? The sense of belonging within the H4 Community. Seeing clients reach their goals is pretty awesome too.

Throughout high school I played some sports like boxing and tennis, but nothing really stuck; I tried to be healthier but lacked commitment. After high school, I started college with the intention of studying Criminal Justice. At the time I was pretty out of shape, and I decided to take up some weight training to get fit (to chase down the bad guys of course). Soon after, I fell in love with fitness. I decided to switch my career track to a fitness professional, and got certified a few years later. I loved that I could challenge myself and become a better me in the process!

My personal philosophy is that fitness is a catalyst for other improvements in one's life; a stronger body will create a stronger mind, and in turn will allow you to lead a great life where any obstacle only becomes a chance to improve.

Favorite Exercise: That's a tough one, it changes all the time! Right now I'd say I really love hill sprints.

Least Favorite Exercise: Calf raises (you can tell I don't like them, if my tiny calves are any clue).

What do I love about H4? The other coaches have said it best: the sense of community. I've been to other gyms - and while I've learned much and met great people - H4 has something special, and you can see it as soon as you walk in.

I am from Argentina. I came to Chicago to get my degree in Exercise Science. Played soccer for North Central College. I have been lifting weight since I am 14 and always like coaching my friends and parents. I am very passionate about sports and fitness, and that includes helping others achieve their goals. Growing up, Danielle was surrounded by fitness. Her mother was a fitness instructor and her dad often ran marathons. But it wasn't until Danielle hired a personal trainer prior for her wedding that she fell in love with how fitness can change someone's body and the positive effects it has on one's mental health. After a hard year, Danielle decided to leave her desk job and focus on herself and continue to develop her passion she discovered 8 years prior as a personal trainer.

I grew up in Springfield, IL and later moved to Naperville to attend North Central College. I graduated with a double major in exercise science and Psychology. I discovered my passion for fitness as a child doing competitive gymnastics and a multitude of sports. Later introduced to running, I participated in Cross Country and Track which ultimately lead me to run at the collegiate level. After graduation in 2018 I took my first job at Delnor Hospital working with special populations. My passion for health and fitness drives me to continue learning and meeting new people along the way.

Growing up I never had a huge passion for sports or the gym,I always did something but nothing kept me switched on for long as I couldn’t find happiness in doing it. I moved to the US in 2021 and I started weightlifting because I needed to do so to prepare for a fitness camp but quickly realized I need something to latch onto to keep myself motivated. I was also very intimidated by the gym setting. What I found was that progress and talking to others helped me massively. Talking about how and why things are done, learning and bettering myself everyday. My progress was great to see but as I got share knowledge with others,i felt fulfilled and I felt like this is what I need to be doing. I got my NASM certification not too long after and I stumbled upon H4,which is the exact environment I always wanted to be a part of.

Fave exercise: Tricep pushdowns
Least favorite: squat

Fave part about H4: that it’s a community that encourages inclusivity and supports its members in all the ways possible. Seeing and hearing my advice help is like nothing else.

I have my degree and exercise science from North Central College (2018-2022). My dad got me into fitness in High School and ever since then, that is the only thing that will give me energy throughout the day, and i love it. I also played tennis almost my whole life and all 4 years of college. This combined with my love on knowing and learning more about the human body/muscles, seeing peoples goals achieved, getting athletes stronger and faster, which led me to wanting to become a personal trainer & strength and conditioning coach.

least favorite exercise: any lowerbody exercise
favorite exercise: any back exercise

favorite thing about h4: I love the community and atmosphere at H4. It would be a good day every time I come in, to get our clients a good workout in while learning something new every time.
